Web design is quite a broad term and is broken down to two primary job scopes which are web designing and web developing. There are, however, many other aspects than web designing and web developing can be further broken down into. The job scope on the traditional web designer include layouts, coloring, and typography of the website, basically they are in-charge of the visual aspect of the website. Website developers usually work on coding the website itself which include being well versed in such coding languages such as HTML and CSS. However, with that being said, web designers will also have a working knowledge of the coding languages like the aforementioned HTML and CSS. In smaller organizations, a web designer may be called up to do the tasks of both web designing and web developing though this is not usually the case in larger organizations.
The further jobs that are needed in creating a website from scratch include web designers which a responsible in creating the visuals of a website which includes logos, layouts and buttons. Internet marketing specialists are responsible of maintaining web presence by utilizing marketing and promotional techniques online. Another job which may be involved in website creation are SEO writers who research and recommend the right words to be used in a website so as to boost presence in a search engines first page. An internet copywriter may also be used in a websites creation and their role is to create content in written form that will be appeases a page’s target audience. The UX designer or user experience designer is a person who incorporates the gathering and evaluation of user requirements. They interface such design elements such as menus, tabs or widgets and they usually work with product managers or product engineers.
