The Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital has completed a $1.5 million dollar renovation. The Connecticut Burn Center serves all residents in the State of Connecticut and surrounding states. This nationally certified burn center, recognized by the American Burn Association is the only certified burn center in the State of Connecticut. This center has a highly trained and caring staff where patients being treated can be given the best care anywhere.
A family suite, the centerpiece of this renovation has been funded with donations from Connecticut Firefighters. It affords a family the opportunity to stay within this center where they can stay close to their loved one as they are being treated.
